Trial Of Abyss is one of, if not, the single most difficult contents in AFK Journey and is the pen ultimate end game mode for most players of the game as of the writing of the article. The requirement for unlocking this gamemode is extremely difficult, with most of the rewards from this game mode allowing players that have managed to reached the end game of AFK Journey to have a better lead and more powerful teams when compared to the ones who have yet to be able to unlock this game mode and helps these players to become the best of the best in many different servers. In addition, the progress of the players in this game mode also mostly determines their rankings on the leaderboard of each server as well.

Trial Of Abyss - What Is It & How To Unlock It

As previously mentioned, Trial Of Abyss is the end game content of AFK Journey where the strongest players in the server would try their best to clear as many stages as possible in the fastest way possible in order to be crowned as the leading players of each server and try their best to get on the overall leaderboard for the each server.

Trial Of Abyss is an end game mode where players will have to challenge a large number of stages and floors of dangerous enemies with highly inflated stats, team formations and abilities. The higher the stage number, the more difficult the stages will become and the more intricately designed the enemies in each stage will be, requiring players to have various well built heroes and many different team combinations in mind in order to be able to clear the stages and advance further in Trial Of Abyss. 

The stages in Trial Of Abyss are on time clear stages that only require players to clear them at least once to obtain their rewards and advance to the next floor in the Trial. Importantly, for some of the rewards of the upper floors of the Trial Of Abyss, players will have the chance to obtain Stellar Crystals. These Crystals will allow players to recruit 1 5* Hero of the Hypogean or Celestial factions, 2 hero factions that normal gachas do not allow players to roll for, making this item very valuable for players to recruit more heroes to diversify their teams.

- Special Highest Floor Cleared Rewards: When attempting the Trial Of Abyss, players in a server who have managed to achieved a certain highest stage milestone among all of the players in the server will receive a special notice that signifies that they are the first ever player to have managed to conquer the Trial Of Abyss highest floor at the time. Once this feat has been achieved, all of the players in the server will receive a special mail containing special summoning tickets given out to celebrate their achievements, with the mail detailing the name of the first player to achieve this feat and what floors they have managed to conquer. The higher the floor the best player in the server has achieved, the more rewards the entire server will receive through the celebratory mail.

Prepare Your Teams Accordingly

As like many contents in the game, players need to have the ability to make decent teams in order to be able to clear the more challenging stages in AFK Journey.
