With Reverse: 1999 initial launch and its contents going in full swing, Reverse: 1999 have released a brand new update patch for all players to participate in and obtain special rewards from the various events and campaigns available exclusively during this 1.1 update patch. Official 1.1 Patch Update Contents - What To Expect
With the release of the 1.1 patch update, players will be able to partake in various events and campaign, including the first ever long term side story event in Reverse: 1999 with special event limited stages, an event shop and several event challenge stages that awaits players to challenge in order to obtain special rewards from the event.
Special Main Event - The Theft Of The Rimet Cup
The main event of the entire patch and the first ever limited time event in Reverse: 1999, the special limited time event “The theft of the rimet cup” will be available for all players to partake in order to obtain various rewards only available for a limited time. During this event’s duration, players can play the special limited time event stages in order to obtain special currencies to exchange for special rewards including special limited island sceneries, character upgrading materials and more.
The event will run from the start of the update patch on the 9th of November, 2023 and will end on the 4th of December, 2023, an almost 1 month long event for players to have the chance to farm and obtain all of the event’s rewards.
In addition, special high difficulty challenge stages will also be available 1 week after the release of the event. These stages will only require players to clear them once in order to obtain the special rewards. However, they are extremely difficult and require players to have fully built teams in order to challenge and clear them, so do be prepared.
Side Events - Thief of The Thieves
Together with the special main event “The theft of the rimet cup”, the special side event “Thief of The Thieves” will also be available during this period for all players to try out the brand new 6* Arcanist introduced in this patch - Melania.
In this event, players will be required to complete different investigations and finish daily tasks in order to obtain various rewards including clear drops, character upgrading materials and more.
Side Events - Bio Of The Great Thief
Yet another side story to go together with the introduction of the great thief Melania, Bio Of The Great Thief is another side event that requires players to clear special mystery puzzle boxes that will be presented to the player daily. Once completed, these puzzle boxes will reward players with various rewards.
Side Events - The Puppy And The Hippy
Together with the special main event “The theft of the rimet cup”, and after the special side event “Thief of The Thieves” will be the brand new side story “The puppy and the hippy” for all players to try out the other brand new 6* Arcanist introduced in this patch - Pickles. This event will be available during the 2nd half of the “The theft of the rimet cup” event and the 2nd part of the update patch.
In this event, players will be required to complete different investigations and finish daily tasks in order to obtain various rewards including clear drops, character upgrading materials and more.
UTTU Challenge - Trophy Of The Past Glory
A special brand new seasonally available gamemode for Reverse: 1999, UTTU challenges are an endgame content challenge for all players that want to experience more challenging stages and contents in Reverse: 1999.
During this patch period of UTTU challenge, players will be able to fight against 20 different stages that unlock periodically throughout the update patch, completing them will reward players handsomely with a large amount of clear drop and character upgrading materials. In addition, once the 20 stages have been completed, an additional 10 challenge stages available during special weeks will be unlocked, offering players an even more difficult challenge that they must overcome.
Special Rate Up Banners - Should You Roll
Together with the release of update patch 1.1 of Reverse: 1999, 2 brand new 6* Arcanists will be introduced into the game and have their special rate up banners available for all players to attempt to roll for them. These arcanists are the 6* Beast Afflatus Arcanist Melania and the 6* Mineral Afflatus Arcanist Pickles.
Melania
Melania is a 6* Arcanist of the Beast Afflatus that specializes in dealing damage to enemies and stealing their life force depending on how much damage she deals.
Melania’s skills consist of a ST target skill and an AOE skill that allows her to diversify her damage output and deal with various situations. Melania’s 1st skill is a single target attack that deal massive Mental damage to 1 enemy and if Melania is granted the special [Thief Master] status, she will then steal 1 moxie from the enemy. In addition, the higher the star rating of the skill, the more Moxie she will gain. Melania’s 2nd skill is a mass attack skill that leech the life force from the enemy and if Melania is granted the [Thief Master] status, she will additionally be granted Moxie when using this skill and the leech rate of this skill will also be greatly enhanced.
Melania’s ultimate deals a massive amount of mental damage to 1 enemy and grants her 1 stack of [Thief Master], allowing her to enhance her next skill use and gain their special effects.
Pickles
Pickles is a 6* Arcanist of the Mineral Afflatus that specializes in dispelling enemies’ status up effects and enhancing the entire team’s damage output whenever he uses his ultimate.
Pickles’ skills focus mainly on dealing mental damage to the enemy and also gain special effects depending on if Pickles is granted the special [Clarified Topic] status. Pickles’ 1st skill is a single target skill that deals massive amounts of mental damage to 1 enemy and if Pickles is granted the special [Clarified Topic] status, the damage dealt by this skill will be greatly increased. Pickles’ 2nd skill allows him to do an AOE attack on the enemy and if the star rating of this skill is at 2 and above, he will remove all of the enemies’ status up buffs. If Pickles is granted the special [Clarified Topic] status, this attack will also penetrate the defense of these enemies.
Pickles’ ultimate is an impressive damage buffing ultimate as once he uses this, he will deal a massive hit of mental damage to 1 enemy and increases the damage dealt by all allies by 30% for 2 turns. If Pickles is granted the special [Clarified Topic] status, this buff will be extended to 3 turns instead.
