With Reverse: 1999 contents going in full swing and it quickly approaching the Christmas season, Reverse: 1999 have released a brand new update patch for all players to participate in and obtain special rewards from the various events and campaigns available exclusively during this 1.2 update patch. In addition, special limited time events for Reverse: 1999 will commence and provide players with a large amount of rewards for all players. Furthermore, 2 brand new 6* Arcanists will be introduced in the game in their rate up banners - the 6* Star Afflatus Arcanist Tooth Fairy and the 6* Plant Afflatus Arcanist Jessica.

Official 1.2 Patch Update Contents - How To Obtain All Rewards

With the release of the 1.2 patch update, players will be able to partake in various events and campaign, including the brand new long term side story event in Reverse: 1999 with special event limited stages, an event shop and several event challenge stages that awaits players to challenge in order to obtain special rewards from the event.

Special Main Event - A Nightmare At Green Lake

The main event of the entire 1.2 update patch in Reverse: 1999, the special limited time event “A Nightmare At Green Lake” will be available for all players to partake in order to obtain various rewards only available for a limited time. During this event’s duration, players can play the special limited time event stages in order to obtain special currencies to exchange for special rewards including special limited island sceneries, character upgrading materials and more.

The event will run from the start of the update patch on the and will end on the last day of the update patch, an almost 1 month long event for players to have the chance to farm and obtain all of the event’s rewards.

In addition, special high difficulty challenge stages will also be available 1 week after the release of the event. These stages will only require players to clear them once in order to obtain the special rewards. However, they are extremely difficult and require players to have fully built teams in order to challenge and clear them, so do be prepared.

Side Events - Worn Teeth & Old Marks

Together with the special main event “A Nightmare At Green Lake”, the special side event “Worn Teeth & Old Marks” will also be available during this period for all players to try out the brand new 6* Arcanist introduced in this patch - Tooth Fairy. 

In this event, players will be required to play through the different event stages and clear them in order to obtain star rating depending on the objectives players completed when doing the stages. Once players have accumulated enough star ratings, players will be able to obtain limited time rewards such as clear drops, event exclusive island furnitures and more.

Side Events - Camp Safety Guide

Another Side Story event to coincides with the release of the 6* Arcanist - Tooth Fairy, The special event “Camp Safety Guide” will require players to do various tasks and challenge different normal and hard difficult stages in order to obtain various limited time rewards and up to 210 clear drops.

Side Events - One Flew Over the Old House

Together with the special main event “A Nightmare At Green Lake”, and after the special side event “Worn Teeth & Old Marks” will be the brand new side story “One Flew Over the Old House” for all players to try out the other brand new 6* Arcanist introduced in this patch - Jessica. This event will be available during the 2nd half of the “A Nightmare At Green Lake” event and the 2nd part of the update patch. 

In this event, players will be required to complete different investigations and finish daily tasks in order to obtain various rewards including clear drops, character upgrading materials and more.

UTTU Challenge - A Night Visit to the Lake

A special brand new season for the special - UTTU challenges.

During this patch period of UTTU challenge, players will be able to fight against 20 different stages that unlock periodically throughout the update patch, completing them will reward players handsomely with a large amount of clear drop and character upgrading materials. In addition, once the 20 stages have been completed, an additional 10 challenge stages available during special weeks will be unlocked, offering players an even more difficult challenge that they must overcome.

Special Rate Up Banners - Should You Roll

Together with the release of update patch 1.2 of Reverse: 1999, 2 brand new 6* Arcanists will be introduced into the game and have their special rate up banners available for all players to attempt to roll for them. These arcanists are the 6* Star Afflatus Arcanist Tooth Fairy and the 6* Plant Afflatus Arcanist Jessica.

Tooth Fairy

Tooth Fairy is a 6* Star Afflatus Arcanists that specializes in cleansing the team from negative debuffs in addition to boosting the team’s survivability and inflicting enemies with the special Confusion debuff to reduce their critical damage against the entire team. In addition, Tooth Fairy can also heal the entire team, ensuring the team’s survival in difficult stages in addition to helping the team deal moderate amounts of Mental damage against the enemies.

Tooth Fairy’s skill kit and abilities revolves around her using her skill to debuff the enemy with the Confusion debuff to reduces their critical damage against her allies and healing the team up with her special mass healing skill, allowing the team to survive difficult and challenging stages with ease due to her abilities enjoying a boost in potency thanks to her effects.

Tooth Fairy’s Ultimate allows her to also deal a big blow of mental damage against one enemy and completely cleanse the team of any negative statuses, helping to be an emergency button to maintain the team’s survival.

Jessica

Jessica is a 6* Plant Afflatus Arcanist that specializes in dealing massive amounts of Reality damage to all enemies in addition to inflicting them with the special Poison debuff to deal even more damage in the form of Genesis damage to them.

Jessica’s damage output is insane on long term battles with her ability to stack Poison debuffs on the enemies and dealing massive amounts of Reality to enemies that have debuffs on themselves. The more Poison stacks the enemies have, the more powerful her attacks become.

Jessica’s Ultimate skill allows her to set up her combat and additional effects by dealing massive amounts of Reality damage to all enemies and inflicting them with Poison stacks for 2 turns, making them take up to 50% of her attack worth of damage every turn for the next 2 turns.

Should You Pull

Tooth Fairy is one of the game’s most powerful and versatile survival support characters with her ability to cleanse all debuffs from all allies, heal and even reduce the enemies’ critical hit damage, allowing her to ensure the safety of all other allies in a very powerful and effective manner. This makes her a very sought after Arcanist if players are suffering from challenge stages.

Jessica is a good damage dealer for the Plant Afflatus with her powerful stat and decent abilities. However, she is less versatile than other DPS options due to her over-reliance on the Poison debuffs, making her damage suffer when up against enemies that can cleanse themselves of her debuffs. So if players can set up a good team to go with her, Jessica is a solid DPS option to consider rolling for.
