Changli - Ascension Materials & Skill Level Up Materials
Changli is a 5* Limited Fusion Resonator that will be on rate up from the 22th of July, 2024, with her Rate Up Banner running for a total of 3 weeks alongside her limited rate up weapon banner.
Changli Ascension Materials
In order to prepare and upgrade Changli, players will need to farm several different materials in order to upgrade, ascend and level up her skills accordingly.
For generic materials such as Resonator Upgrading EXPs, Shell Credits and Weapon enhancement EXPs, players can farm those at the Training Simulation.
For Changli’s ascension materials in order to help uncap her level cap, players will need to fight the World Boss Inferno Rider in order to obtain her ascension material - Rage Tacet Core. In order to upgrade Changli to max, players will need a total of 46 of these materials to fully upgrade Changli to lv90.
In addition, in order to ascend Changli, players will also need to go around the overworld and find a total of 60 Pavo Plume in order to upgrade Changli to max lv 90. Coriolus can be found around the brand new explorable area - Mt. Firmament, if players are unsure where to find them, they can look for them on our Interactive map.
Weapons & Skill Upgrading Materials
Aside from leveling and ascension materials, in order for Changli to become more powerful, players will also need to level up her weapon and her skill level using specialized materials, 1 type dropping from overworld enemies and 1 drop from specific domain that players will need to spend energy on.
For the overworld monster materials, players will need to farm the Tailored Rings dropped from normal enemies in the overworld or buy them from the game’s souvenir shop. Players will need a lot of these for Changli’s ascension and skill upgrade, so be sure to stock them up in advance.
For the domain specific materials, since Changli is a Sword Weapon type user, she will need the different rarity Metallic Drips from the Forgery Challenge:. This is needed for both for skill upgrade and weapon upgrade, so players will need to spend quite a bit of energy to get them as well.
Changli - Echoes & Weapons Recommendations
Echoes Sotana Set Recommendations
As Changli is an Fusion Resonator, if players want to focus mainly on boosting Changli’s main damage while she is on the field, then the Molten Rift set is the natural recommended set for Changli as a Fusion DPS.
However, another decent set that players can run for Changli to help boost her overall damage is the Lingering Tunes Sonata Set, which helps boost her attack stat when she is on the field and boost her outro skill’s damage.
Echoes Main And Sub Stats Recommendation
For main and sub stats for Echoes, Changli will need a varied set of stats needed for her to shine her best as the team’s main DPS dealer while also helping to deal damage when she leaves the field.
The main stats that players should get are:
- 4 Cost Echo (Inferno Rider): Crit Damage% / Crit Rate%
- 3 Cost Echoes: 2 Fusion Damage%
- 1 Cost Echoes: 2 Atk% Echoes
Recommended Sub Stats: Crit Rate% / Crit Damage% > Normal Attack Damage% > Resonance Skill Damage% > Atk%
Weapon Recommendations
For Changli, her best in slot weapon is of course her signature weapon:
- Blazing Brilliance (5* Limited) (Atk + Crit Damage%): Increases CRIT Rate by 12% . Upon dealing damage, increases Searing Feather by 1 stack, gaining 1 stack every 0.5s. When Resonance Skill is released, increases Searing Feather by an extra 5 stacks. Each stack of Searing Feather increases Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by 4% , stacking up to 14 times. After reaching 14 stacks of Searing Feather, all stacks will reset within 10s.
For alternatives, players can use these weapons as substitutes:
- Emerald of Genesis (5* Standard) ( Atk + Crit Rate%): Energy Regen is increased by 12.80% . When Resonance Skill hits a target, ATK is increased by 6% . This effect can stack up to 2 time(s) and last for 10s.
- Commando of Conviction (4* Standard) (Atk + Atk%): When Intro Skill is cast, increases ATK by 15%, lasting for 15s.
- Lumingloss (4* Battlepass) (Atk + Atk%): When Resonance Skill is cast, increases Basic Attack DMG and Heavy Attack DMG by 20%, stacking up to 1 time(s). This effect lasts for 10s and can be triggered 1 time(s) every 1s.
Changli Playstyle Analysis, Skill Upgrade Priorities & Recommended Teams
Changli Playstyle and Abilities
Changli is a 5* Limited Fusion Element Resonator. She wields a short sword in combat and deals Fusion elemental damage to enemies. Changli’s combat style revolves around her dealing constant normal attacks to enemies to fill up her Forte gauge and grants her the true Sight state, allowing her to infuse her attacks with Fusion Elemental damage.
Changli’s Normal attacks allows her to deal up to 4 instances of normal attack damage to enemies in rapid succession, with the last hit granting her the True Sight state. When in the air, players can consume her True Sight charge to deal a plunging attack, dealing Fusion damage to enemies surrounding her.
Changli’s Resonance Skill allows her to gain the True Sight state and makes all of her attacks deal Fusion elemental damage. At the end of the True Sight state, Changli will deal a plunge attack, dealing Fusion elemental damage to enemies surrounding her.
Changli’s Resonance Liberation deals a massive instance of Fusion damage to all enemies and grants her a special Fiery Feather buff, which grants her extra atk% Enflament stacks everytime she uses her Heavy attacks. Her Forte Gauge allows her to gain 1 stack of Enframement, for up to 4, and she can consume all of these stacks to deal a devastating Fusion elemental attack when using her Heavy Attack.
Changli Skill Upgrade Priorities
Changli’s main source of damage comes from her Forte Gauge and Normal Attacks, so they are of the highest priority for players to upgrade.
Changli’s Liberation Release and her Resonance Skill also contribute greatly to her overall damage output when she is on field, therefore, to maximize Changli’s damage potential, these abilities should be leveled up after her Normal Attacks.
Recommended Teams
As a prime Fusion DPS Resonator and a good Fusion Damage Supporter, Changli can fill 2 different roles in 2 different teams: 1 as a main DPS and 1 as a sub DPS/ Fusion Damage Support.
There are 2 teams that are recommended to run with Changli, the first is a more Changli DPS centric team with other supporting Resonators boosting her overall damage output when she is on the field.

The 2nd team is a mono Fusion team that makes the best use of Changli’s synergy with other Fusion Resonators as a Fusion Damage Support. This team excels at dealing with contents that require players to deal with enemies that are weak to the Fusion Element. The team consists of:
Note: Chixia or Changli can be the main DPS for this team, Mortefi can be replaced for a sustain supporter if the team is too prone to damage.
