Best Jinhsi Build - Overview

 

 

Jinhsi is a powerhouse DPS character that is capable of high damage bursts in short rotations while looking extremely heroic. She also benefits from having resonators with different attributes on the team, including when those resonators use echoes with different attributes than the wearer.

 

Jinhsi also has plenty of the most important stat in the early versions of the game readily available - Crit Rate. Her Forte nodes provide 8% crit rate and her signature weapon provides 24.3% crit rate, allowing Jinhsi to reach consistent crit rates without the need for a transitional echo setup or a crit rate main stat overlord echo.

 

 

Best Jinhsi Build - Weapon

 

 

Jinhsi is the third 5 star character that wields a broadblade which means that there are a variety of weapons to choose from. Most of Jinhsi’s damage originates from her Resonance Skill attacks, while her Resonance Liberation has incredibly high scaling but is very expensive. Below are the damage ratios for the best broadblade options for Jinhsi.

Ages of Harvest - 5 Star Broadblade

 

Jinhsi’s Best in Slot weapon and signature weapon, Ages of Harvest. Jinhsi should always be played with other party members to build her Forte, utilize her Sequence 2 and activate her intro skill. Jinhsi has 4 different Resonance Skills that she can cast during her rotation which allows easy maintenance of the full 48%/96% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. This weapon also looks incredible on her.

 

Verdant Summit - 5 Star Broadblade

 

Verdant Summit is Jinhsi’s 2nd best weapon because of its 12% elemental DMG bonus and 48.6% Crit DMG from it’s secondary stat. Although the Heavy Attack Damage Bonus is wasted on Jinhsi - it’s only useful for one attack in her combo. This weapon will still outdamage the Lustrous Razor at the same weapon rank, as long as you have at least 60%+ Crit Rate.

 

Lustrous Razor - 5 Star Broadblade

 

Lustrous Razor is Jinhsi’s worst 5 star option, but it will still outperform all 4 star options because of its high base attack. Jinhsi’s liberation has very high scaling so performing the ability at the end of her rotation will give her the full 3 stacks of Liberation DMG Bonus from the weapons passive, which is very important for getting the maximum value from the weapon.

 

Autumntrace - 4 Star Broadblade

 

Autumntrace will provide the highest damage out of all the 4 star options for Jinhsi, but it is not by a significant margin. This weapon does need to be Rank 5 to make the damage difference noticeable compared to Helios Cleaver, but has a $50 price tag as you will need 5 battle passes to achieve maximum Rank. Jinhsi will also struggle to maintain maximum stacks of Autumntrace’s passive because Basic Attacks are not common in her rotation.

 

Helios Cleaver - 4 Star Broadblade

 

Helios Cleaver is the ideal 4 star option for Jinhsi. The damage output from this weapon is marginally lower than the Autumntrace, but does not have a $50 price tag and Jinhsi can easily proc the full passive buff from this weapon.

 

Broadblade of Night - 3 Star Broadblade

 

Broadblade of Night is Jinhsi’s best 3 star Broadblade option.

 

 

Best Jinhsi Build - Echoes

 

 

Endgame Build

 

Jinhsi is fairly straightforward and easy to build. Because her weapon and forte provide her with an abundance of crit rate, you are not as reliant on high crit rate rolls to get a consistent crit rate on her final build. This means that you can easily build Jinhsi with a 4-3-3-1-1 from early in the game to endgame. Jue is also the best Echo Skill for Jinhsi.

If you are using her best in slot weapon or any crit rate broadblade, then you will want to use a crit damage main stat Overlord 4 COST echo. The remaining crit rate Jinhsi needs to achieve should come from the echo substats, with 70% being the minimum target.

Her Elite 3 COST echoes should use Spectro DMG Bonus over ATK%. Spectro DMG Bonus is a better buff for Jinhsi, but better substats on an ATK% piece can make up for the difference.

 

Her Common 1 COST echoes should both be on ATK%.

 

4-3-3-1-1 Echo Formation for Jinhsi (Variation 2)

 

If you are not using a crit rate weapon on Jinhsi, then using a crit rate main stat 4 COST echo will be the best option, while the 3 COST and 1 COST echoes are the same.

 

Echo Substats

 

The best substats for Jinhsi are found below. Crit DMG is the best damage buff for Jinhsi’s damage, which goes hand-in-hand with Crit Rate. ATK% is the next best buff for Jinhsi as with her high base attack, this offers great increases to her overall damage from every part of her kit.

Her third best stat is tied between Flat ATK and Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. Both these stats affect Jinhsi overall damage a similar amount at maximum roll value (Flat ATK = 70, Res. Skill DMG Bonus = 12.0%). Jinhsi does not rely on her Resonance Liberation for incarnation, which means that Energy Regen is not a necessity but it is useful as she has an expensive liberation cost of 150 Resonance Energy.

Best Jinhsi Build - Forte/Talent Priority

 

Jinhsi’s main damage source is from her Forte Circuit as this is where her incarnation damage originates from. Her Resonance Liberation also deals massive amounts of damage and is the second largest contribution to her entire damage. Her Resonance Skill and Basic Attack roughly deal the same amount of damage during her rotation. Lastly, her Intro Skill damage is buffed by her second Inherent Skill, but not significantly enough to be leveled before her other skills.

Best Jinhsi Build - Team Comps

 

 

Jinhsi currently does not have many options that rapidly build her Forte for fast rotations. This means that her team should be made up of characters that deal off field damage (Sub DPS) and characters that offer good damage and some form of support (Support DPS). A healer is also a viable option instead of a Support DPS.
Her current best team is:

 

Jinhsi - Yinlin - Jianxin

Yinlin will provide off field damage that will allow Jinhsi to consistently build her forte no matter which of your party members are on field. Yinlin’s Outro Skill also provides Jinhsi with DMG amplification for her Resonance Liberation.

 

Yuanwu is an alternative that plays a similar role to Yinlin for Jinhsi’s forte accumulation. Yinlin will provide a more damage focused rotation while Yuanwu provides survivability and utility.

Mortefi is a viable replacement for Yinlin to fill a similar role of proc’ing off field damage no matter what party member is on field.

 

S6 Yangyang is a different type of support option for Jihnsi, to crowd control groups of enemies, deal incredible amounts of damage, provide Resonance Energy and an ATK% buff.

Verina is a replacement for Jianxin if you want a healer, but this will mean you build Jinshi’s forte much slower because you have two Spectro resonators on your team.

Baizhi is also a viable replacement for Jianxin. She is better than Verina for Jinhsi’s Forte accumulation, but provides less DMG buffs than Verina.
