Zenless Zone Zero Best Teams - Elemental Damage Type

The best team recommendations will be divided into 2 different sections with each revolving around the 2 ways players can build their teams in order to maximize the potential of the Agents they have on the battlefield. The first of the ways players can build a team is based on the Agent’s Elemental Damage Type, with the game having 5 different Elemental Damage Types in total: Fire, Ice, Electric, Ether and Physical

Fire Elemental Damage Team

The best Fire Elemental Damage recommended team involves 3 different Agents: Koleda Belobog, Ben Bigger & Soldier 11

In this team, Soldier 11 serves as the team’s main DPS option with her ability to quickly dish out Fire Elemental damage to enemies surrounding her and helps the team deal massive amounts of Fire Elemental Damage.

Ben Bigger serves as the Sub DPS/ Defensive Agent in the team, with his ability to block enemies’ attack and counter attacking, allowing players to quickly switch him in to mitigate oncoming attacks and deal damage when necessary.

Koleda Belobog serves as another of the team’s Sub DPS and Stun support, with her ability to quickly increase the enemies’ Daze gauge, making them enter the Stunned state quicker and create opportunities for her teammates. In addition, with Ben Bigger in the team, Koledga Belobog’s damage is also enhanced.

Ice Elemental Damage Team

The best Ice Elemental Damage recommended team involves 3 different Agents: Ellen Joe, Von Lycaon & Soukaku

In the team, Ellen Joe serves as the team’s primary on field DPS with her ability to quickly move around the battlefield to sweep up enemies and inflicting massive amounts of Ice Elemental Damage to them. Her ability to inflict the Frozen Status on enemies also helps to boost her damage output by her ability to Shatter them.

Von Lycaon serves as the team’s Sub DPS and Stun Support Agent, with his quick normal attacks and fast pace movements, he can quickly ramp up the enemies’ Daze gauge and make them Stunned way quicker. In addition, with his quick attacks, he can help ramp up the Attribute Anomaly For the Ice Element and inflict the Frozen status on enemies much quicker.

Soukaku serves as the team’s Ice Elemental Damage support thanks to her ability to reduce the enemies’ Ice Elemental Damage resistance, allowing the team to deal more damage to enemies and help the team inflict the Anomaly Effect much quicker.

Electric Elemental Damage Team

The best Electric Elemental Damage recommended team involves 3 different Agents: Grace Howard, Alexandrina Sebastiane, Anton Ivanov

Anton Ivanov serves as the team’s primary damage dealer on the field in this team. He can deal Electric damage constantly to enemies and help to quickly inflict the enemy with the Shocked status.

Grace Howard serves as the team’s Sub DPS and Damage Amplifier with her ability to quickly inflict the enemies with the Electric Attribute Anomaly Effect - Shocked and her ability to amplify Electric Anomaly damage. 

Alexandrina Sebastiane is the team’s best support unit with her ability to inflict the Shocked status to enemies in a wide area and her ability to boost other Agent’s Electric Damage and Attack even when she is not on the field.

This team excels at dealing with Machine Type Enemies, thanks to their Attribute Anomaly Status - Shocked completely renders Machine type Enemies useless.

Ether Elemental Damage Team

The best Ether Elemental Damage recommended team involves 3 different Agents: Nicole Demara, Zhu Yuan and a flexible agent slot.

Zhu Yuan is the Ether team’s main on field DPS option thanks to her explosive skill kit that allows her to constantly deal Ether damage to enemies and quickly ramps up the Attribute Anomaly Effects with her fast paced combat skill kit.

Nicole Demara is the team’s primary support Agent with her extremely powerful crowd control ability whenever she uses her skill or when she is switched in thanks to a Chain Attack. Her energy field allows her to pin the enemy down and create opportune moments for other Agents to strike.

Physical Damage Team

The best Physical Damage recommended team involves 3 different Agents: Nekomiya Mana, Billy Kid and Corin Wickes

The Main DPS option for a Physical Damage team can be either Billy Kid or Nekomiya Mana due to their similarity in skill kit and effects. However, if players are more keen on a ranged attacking playstyle with the ability to hit multiple enemies at once, then Billy Kid is more recommended as the team’s main DPS option.

For Sub DPS, Nekomiya Mana allows the team to quickly approach the enemies and swiftly move through them in a melee attack, allowing more melee centric players to use her more swiftly.

For the last slot, Corin Wickes is a decent option to consider with her ability to help boost her own damage against boss enemies and her ability to boost other allies’s overall damage output.

Zenless Zone Zero Best Teams - Factions

Another way players can make their team is through the various factions system in place in the game. By building a team of each faction, it makes it easier for players to be able to activate the individual Agents’ Additional Abilities and help to boost the overall damage of the team through specific passives.

Faction Team - Cunning Hares

The Cunning Hare faction team consists of Billy Kid as the main DPS, Nicole Demara as the Support Agent and Anby Demara as the Sub DPS. Nekomiya Mana can be slotted in as the main DPS to replace Billy Kid or as the sub DPS to replace Anby Demara.

Faction Team - Belobog Heavy Industries

The Belobog Heavy Industries faction team consists of Koleda Belobog as the main DPS, Grace Howard as the Support Agent and Ben Bigger as the Sub DPS. Anton Ivanov can replace Grace Howard for more damage if you don’t have her.

Faction Team - Victoria Housekeeping Co.

The Victoria Housekeeping Co. faction team consists of Ellen Joe as the main DPS, Alexandrina Sebastiane as the Support Agent and Von Lycaon as the Sub DPS. Corin Wickes can be used instead of Von Lycaon if players do not have them in the role of Sub DPS.

Faction Team - Miscellaneous

Another faction based team players can make is the Hollow Special Operation Faction team, featuring 2 Agents - Hoshimi Miyabi and Soukaku, with Hishimi Miyabi being the main DPS Agent and Soukaku for support. Brand new agents of this faction will also be introduced in the future so players can expect this team to receive brand new team members soon.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team faction only consists of Zhu Yuan, however, 3 brand new agents have also been revealed to be in the faction so players will be able to make a team for this faction very soon.
