With the Amplifying Close Beta Test of Zenless Zone Zero, many players have had the chance to experience the game’s gacha system and have been able to get a more in depth understanding of how the system works and what players need to pay attention when rolling in Zenless Zone Zero. Thus, the following are the important things players should know about the Zenless Zone Zero’s overall gacha system and the mechanics surrounding it.

Zenless Zone Zero - What Players Are Rolling For In The Gacha

Like many other gacha games similar to it, Zenless Zone Zero’s gacha system is divided into several different kinds of gacha banners. Each of these gacha banners or “Channels” will allow players to roll for one of the most important things that players can get in order to boost up their team in order to advance further into the story and is divided into 3 main things that players can obtain from the gacha banners.

The three things that are available for players to gacha in Zenless Zone Zero are:

- Agents: The Agents are of course, the game’s gacha characters, with their rarity divided into A Rank Agents and the higher rarity, S Rank Agents. These serve as characters that players can play as and each of them have unique animations, attack patterns, stats, skills and more. These are the main focus that players will want to roll for in the Zenless Zone Zero Gacha.

- W-Engine: The second thing that players can gacha for in Zenless Zone Zero are the W-Engines. The W in W-Engine stands for Weapon and they also serve as the main weapons that players can equip to Agents in the game in order to grant them special effects and abilities based on which weapon they are equipped with. The rank of the weapons are divided into B rank, A rank and of course, the high rarity S Ranks.

- Bangboo: The third and last thing players can roll for in the Gacha banners in Zenless Zone Zero are the Bangboos. These adorable mascots like creatures are companions that players can bring to battle in order to help the team when needed, with each having their own effects, skills and buffs that they provide to the team. As with the Agents, these Bangboos are divided into A Rank Bangboo and S Rank Bangboos.

Zenless Zone Zero - The Different Types Of Banners

Like with other games from the same developer Mihoyo, Zenless Zone Zero’s gacha system and banners are divided into several different banners or “channels” with some channels only available for a Limited time, featuring Limited Time Agents, W-Engines and Bangboos. Aside from the limited time channels, players will also have different standard or permanent channels that will always be available but does not feature the limited Agents, W-Engines and Bangboos in the gacha pool.

Some of the different types of banners for Zenless Zone Zero includes:

- The Exclusive Channel: This “channel” or banner is the game’s form of a limited character banner, with a Special Limited S Rank Agents being available for rolling only on this banner for a limited time. Players will be able to obtain A Rank, S Rank and Limited S Rank Agents from this banner alongside B Rank and A Rank W-Engines. The Limited character will not be added to the general Agents pull once this banner ends and the banner’s pity counter will only be carried over to other “Exclusive Channel” Banners. This banner can only be pulled on using the Encrypted Master Tapes gacha currency.

- The W-Engine Channel: This “channel” or banner is the game’s banner for the weapons or W-engines for the characters. During the release of the “Exclusive Channel” banners, this W-Engine will also feature the Limited W-Engine for the Rated Up Limited Agent currently on banner. The pity for this banner will carry over always, but the rated up S Rank W-Engine will be cycled following the schedule of the rated up Limited Character on the “Exclusive Channel”.This banner can only be pulled on using the Encrypted Master Tapes gacha currency.

- The Bangboo Channel: Similar to the W-Engine Channel, the Bangboo channel will feature a special S Rank Limited Bangboo for a limited time following the schedule of the “Exclusive Channel”. However, this Bangboo channel will only allow players to obtain Bangboos and requires a completely different type of gacha currency - Coup-En to roll on.

- The Stable Channel: The Stable Channel serves as the game’s standard banner, featuring all non-limited S Rank Agents and S Rank W-Engine. This banner’s pity will be maintained always and players can spend the normal gacha currency Master Tape to roll on this banner. The rates for all S Ranks are divided equally in this Channel.
