AFK Journey Dream Realm Bosses Guide - How To Obtain All Rewards
With AFK Journey entering its 2nd month of operation and many of its players have managed to enter the game’s mid game points with its many interesting gamemodes and rewards available, it is important for players to have a better understanding of some of the game’s most important game modes in order to be able to obtain the most amount of rewards and advance further in the game than other players in order to claim their spots on the server’s top leader board and obtain all of the best rewards from the leaderboard to advance even further in the game.
One of the most important daily game modes that many players need to complete everyday in order to obtain the most amount of resources to strengthen their team is the special Dream Realm Boss Game mode, where players will have challenge and clear a boss everyday, with the boss’ abilities, HP and difficulty increasing with each successful challenge attempts in order to obtain more rewards depending on whether the players are able to defeat the bosses or not.
In this guide, we will go over all of the bosses available for AFK Journey in the Dream Realm game mode, how players should tackle each of them by utilizing different teams in order to obtain the most amount of rewards possible and how players should spend their hard earn currencies from this game mode in order to obtain all of the best rewards possible.
Dream Realm - Everything You Need To Know
Dream Realm is a special Game Mode in AFK Journey that requires players to fight a special boss everyday in order to accumulate points according to the amount of damage they dealt to the boss’ large pool of HP and if the players are able to reduce the bosses’ HP amount to 0, they will be able to advance further to a higher difficulty in order to obtain more rewards.
Players will have to face 4 bosses in total, with each of the bosses rotating on a daily basis, allowing players to challenge all of them at least 2 times a week in total. The progress players manage to make will be carried over to the next boss rotation, but only the players’ highest possible damage dealt attempt will be recorded and the highest possible rewards milestone achieved will be rewarded depending on the highest damage recorded.
Players will have 6 attempts daily to fight the bosses to deal as much damage as possible to the boss and establish the highest possible damage record against the boss in order to obtain the most amount of rewards possible.
Dream Realm - Bosses Details
As mentioned before, the special Dream Realm is a daily mode that features boss battles against 4 different bosses that players must face and deal as much damage as possible to obtain the highest possible damage record to obtain as many rewards as possible. As such, all of the bosses have different mechanics that players need to pay attention of in order to build the perfect teams against them:
- Skyclops: Skyclops is a boss that has the special ability to summon special minions on the field in order to hinder the players. While these minions are on the field, Skyclops will receive a special shield that nullifies all damage dealt against it, making it imperative that players defeat all the boss’ minions before focusing the fire against the boss itself to maximize the team’s damage output
- King Croaker: King Croaker is a boss that specializes in dealing magical damage against the team in a wide area with annoying abilities that allow him to gain special shields that massively reduces the damage dealt to it by the team. In addition, the boss has a special move that can instantly kill an ally if the hit lands, making it extremely imperative that players burst the boss down as soon as possible to avoid its instant kill skill.
- Necrodrakon: Necrodrakon is a boss that specializes in AOE skills that massively debuffs the team, dealing critical damage to the entire over time and reducing the team’s damage output with its debuffs, helping to drag out the fight and disable the team’s ability to deal good damage against it. In addition, the boss also has a big AOE skill that can deal significant damage to the team if the players aren’t careful.
- Snow Stomper: Snow Stomper is a boss that specializes in freezing the team and disabling their skills in order to massively reduce the damage dealt by the team all the while dealing massive AOE damage to allies. It is extremely annoying with its ability to render the team’s movement and damage skills nullified, making it extremely difficult for the team to defeat it or deal good damage.
Dream Realm - Rankings & Rewards
For every boss, the highest possible damage record players have dealt to the boss will be recorded. The rewards players can gain from this game mode is dependent on certain milestones that players will need to pass with their highest possible damage records in order to obtain.
For every 5% of the boss’ HP that players manage to reduce on a single attempt, players will be able to obtain a reward from the reward milestone, with the rewards ranging from Heroes’ EXP, special game mode exclusive currency and, once players manage to defeat the boss for the first time, they will rewarded with summoning tickets. Once players have managed to defeat the boss and obtain the 100% HP reward, the boss’ difficulty will be raised by 1 stage and all reward milestones will be reset with increased rewards. Players need to keep in mind that the mode only takes into account the highest possible damage record, therefore, milestone rewards will only be rewarded to the players once per boss difficulty.
The higher the damage record of the player is, the higher the players’ ranking will be and the more daily rewards players can get from the player ranking. The rewards from heroes ranking can be used by the players to exchange for special items in the shop.
Dream Realm - Tips & Tricks To Obtain All Rewards
Skyclops
Skyclops main hindrance that players need to overcome is the boss’ ability to summon minions and nullify all damage to it when the minions are on the field. Therefore, it is highly recommended that players bring many Heroes with powerful AOE abilities to quickly deal with the minions on the field to be able to focus on the boss once the damage nullification buff wears off.
King Croaker
King Croaker main strong point lies in its AOE damaging abilities, the annoying shield and the powerful instant kill attack if it lands on an ally. When up against this boss, it is highly recommended that players bring heroes that have the ability to summon familiars to draw the attention of the boss’ instant kill attack in addition to bringing tanks and heroes with the ability to remove buffs from the enemy to maximize the damage output potential of the team against the boss’ shield.
Necrodrakon
Necrodrakon's main gimmick lies in its multitude of debuffs that hinder the team and damage the entire team over time, making it hard to survive its onslaught long enough to defeat it. As such, it is extremely recommended that players bring heroes with powerful healing and debuff removal effects to the fight to combat the debuffs inflicted by the boss. In addition, heroes with the ability to grant other offensive abilities are also highly recommended to combat the boss’ attacks.
Snow Stomper
Snow Stomper ability to freeze allies in a wide area, coupled with its ability to silence heroes, preventing them using skill is the main hindrance when facing this boss. Therefore, it is highly recommended that players bring heroes that can remove debuffs to help deal with the frozen status, as well as combating its attacks by using allies with abilities that can move swiftly around the battlefield to dodge its attacks to deal as much efficient damage as possible.
