Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 Update Patch - Thaw Of Eons - What To Expect
With Wuthering Waves Version 1.0 launch coming to an end and many players have been able to experience the launch of the game with all of its initial events and gameplay contents, it is high time for the game to enter its 2nd Version up date patch and introduce brand new game modes, gameplay functions, changes, story contents, events, special limited resonators and more in the upcoming game version update 1.1 - Thaw Of Eons.
In this article, we will go over all of the important upcoming contents coming to Wuthering Waves in the special version update patch 1.1 - Thaw Of Eons and show players all of the interesting things players can expect from the version update patch and all the things they should be able to prepare in order to obtain all of the rewards from the upcoming brand new update patch.
Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 Update Patch - What To Expect
With the initial launch version update patch - 1.0 coming to and end by the 28th of June, players can expect to experience brand new contents, including special new limited Resonators, weapons, story chapters, new area to explores, exclusive limited time events and even brand new updates to many of the game’s end game contents in the brand new version 1.1 version update patch - Thaw Of Eons coming to players on the 28th of June.
Brand New Resonators - Jinhsi & Changli
With the release of the version 1.1 update patch, players will be able to meet and use 2 brand new Limited 5* Resonators that have been introduced in the previous story chapters in the game - The 5* Limited Spectro Element Resonator Jinhsi and the 5* Limited Fusion Element Resonator Changli.
Jinhs is the Magistrate of Jinzhou, Jinhsi bears her noble and weighty share of duties. Through repeated ages, the Lament has preyed upon mankind's vulnerable hope. Yet, grasping the nettle, she strives with all her might to forge a path toward tomorrow. She plays an extreme part of the main story of version update 1.0 and she will be one of the main focus of the main story of Wuthering Wave’s version 1.1.
Changli, as the Counselor to the Jinzhou Magistrate, she excels at leveraging human nature to corner her enemies into traps. Being the mentor to Jinhsi, she is persuasive and patient. She entertains an unwavering aspiration, holding her ground in the endless game against time and chaos. She will make her official on screen debut in the version 1.1 main story update.
These 2 Resonators and their signature weapons will be introduced in the upcoming 2 Limited Rate Up Banners for players to obtain and try them out in the actual game once the version 1.1 update comes.
Brand New Exploration Area - Mt. Firmament
With the release of version 1.1, players will be treated with a brand new area to explore in the Huanglong region - Mount Firmament.
Players can explore Mt. Firmament once they have reached Union level 14 and have completed the game’s main story quest up to a certain point. Together with the introduction of Mt. Firmament, players will also be treated with several brand new mechanics and events related to the exploration of this area to reward players with a large amount of Resonator upgrading currencies, special gacha currencies and more.
For a limited time during version 1.1, players will be able to partake in 2 special events tied to Mt. Firmament. The first is the limited time Exploration event, where players will need to explore Mt. Firmament and complete special tasks in order to obtain points to reach and obtain various event exclusive rewards.
The second is a photograph event, where players will be tasked with taking photos of specific points and specific creatures native to Mt. Firmament in order to complete event missions and obtain various event exclusive rewards.
Finally, with the release of Mt. Firmament, players will be treated with a large amount of chests, brand new overworld challenges, puzzles, quests and echoes to find and collect in order to obtain special rewards.
Brand New Quests
With Version update 1.1, players will be able to continue experiencing the game’s main story in the Huanglong region in the upcoming Main Quest Chapter 1, Act 7 release. With the release of this important new main story chapter, players will be able to witness the fate and future of the region when facing their Sentinel - Jue.
Alongside the main quest update, players will also be able to start and experience the character companion quest for Changli - Immortal Blaze and learn more about her backstory and motivations.
In addition, with the release of the new version, the previous main quests' Union Level requirements will be lowered, allowing for players who haven’t caught up with the game’s main story to be able to do so more easily in order to experience the upcoming story contents as soon as possible.
Other Game Updates And Changes
With the release of Version Update 1.1 - Thaw of Eons, several gameplay features and game modes will experience some changes and updates to help players advance further in the game and obtain large amounts of rewards.
Firstly, with the version 1.1 update, several brand new Echoes will be added to the game, these Echoes will be native to the Mt. Firmament area and will be available for players to defeat and capture when they encounter them. A total of 7 brand new Echoes will be added to the game. In addition, with the addition of these brand new echoes, players will be able to obtain them and increase their Data Bank level to level 21 and obtain the effect where all of the Echoes they obtained after leveling up the Data Bank be guaranteed to be 5* Echoes at a fixed 100% rate.
Secondly, brand new updates will come to the Depth of The Illusive Realm gamemode, where players will be able to playtest brand new Resonators and be able to obtain and experience more interesting boss fights and encounters within the game mode.
Finally, several changes will be coming to the game in terms of the game’s EXP system and Echoes system. A brand new Echoes tuner synthesis system will be added after this update to allow players to obtain high rarity Echoes tuners by exchanging lower rarity Echoes Tuners. Furthermore, Union EXP will now be rewarded to players whenever they discover brand new Echoes, the Union EXP will be retroactively refunded to players through the mail system once the update patch comes. In addition, players will now be able to obtain Cost 3 and 4 Echoes from Activity Points rewards, reducing the difficulty of obtaining high rarity Echoes.
Version 1.1 Patch Update Celebration Rewards
Finally, to celebrate the upcoming release of the version 1.1 Update - Thaw of Eons and to appreciate the support of all players who have been sticking with Wuthering Waves through its successful yet turbulent Launch version 1.0, all players will be rewarded with a special gift upon the release of version 1.1.
Players of all servers will be rewarded with rewards totaling 30 free summonings on the various banners in the game.
On the 4th of July, players will be able to obtain 10 Radiant Tides, amounting to 10 summonings on the Limited Character banner.
On the 6th of July, players will be able to obtain 10 Forging Tides, amounting to 10 summonings on the Limited Weapon banner.
On the 10th of July, players will be able to obtain 10 Lustrous Tides, amounting to 10 summonings on the Standard banner.
Players need to keep in mind that these rewards will only be given out if the player logs in during the specific dates, meaning that it is of utmost importance that players log into the game during those days, otherwise they will not be able to obtain these rewards.
